New Place // Great Sand Dunes National Park
I have only seen pictures of this majestic place but it definitely caught my attention and somewhere I have put on my National Parks list to visit. The San Luis Valley is a massive, grassy high basin to the east of the San Juan Mountains in south central Colorado. At the southeast end of the valley is Great Sand Dunes National Park, home to the largest dunes in the US, though the 230m crests look rather small beneath the jagged 4,300m peaks above. From what I have gathered it sounds like Pinyon Flats is the place to stay, with abundant hiking throughout the dunes. Star Dune, the tallest dune in the park is also a must see, which is supposed to be something out of a Star Wars film. Will keep you posted on my travels!
Cool Thing // Bosu Training Ball
Ok, so it’s not that new of a thing, but if you buy one then you will see how COOL it is. It’s amazing how good of a workout you can get with just a Bosu Balance Ball.
